• This new company brings together two lines of high performance products: Repsol's Calprene® brand which includes different grades of polybutadiene, styrene-butadiene and hydrogenated (SEBS) rubbers and Insa's Solprene®, with its patented line of styrene-butadiene rubbers and thermoplastics.
 
• Insa nowadays belongs to chemical sector of DESC, SA de CV, and started its operations inwith 45,000 MTPY capacity through a Joint Venture between Polysar and Pemex, forming the first synthetic rubber plant in Latin America, in 2002 started production of Hot SBR line products.
 
• Industrial production of carbon black in México dates to the 1960´s, when Nhumo opened its fisrt carbon production plant on January 16, 1973 in the City of Salamanca, Guanajuato. Then on April 16, 1977, the Altamira plant in Tamaulipas began operations and today it is tne only functioning plant.
 
• As a result of an alliance with Uniroyal Chemical Company, Inc. in 1998, ParaTec LLC was created with the purpose of producing NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber. Since our beginnings we adopted safety procedures according to the Behavior Safety Training methodology.
 
• In 1951, Monsanto Mexicana started up the first polystyrene plant in Lechería, Edo. de Mexico, Based on this infrastructure was able to develop a new polymerization technology. In 1998 Resirene begins the construction of a second polymerization line in the Tlaxcala plant. Start up was March 2000
